As a new model you have to compare it to what else Vitamix has already released. How important are the 3 preset modes to you? Do you consider them to be a high priority because of their convenience? Is the 48-ounce container enough for what you’ll be preparing? If you answered yes to those questions, the Propel 510 is definitely something to consider. Lots of performance and some convenient functionality make it a solid choice. If you really don’t care at all about the preset modes, you could consider the E310. It lacks the preset modes completely but offers similar performance for a reduced price compared to the Vitamix Propel Series.
Vitamix Propel 750
Now we can begin talking about the Vitamix Propel 750 blender, which seems extremely similar in both name and specifications to an older Vitamix model called the: Professional 750. So then you may start to wonder, what’s changed and which one is better? For starters, the newer model does come in at weighing 10 pounds, which is around 2 1/2 pounds lighter. They both have the same 7-year warranty and similar preset modes to choose from.
Control & Design
The control panel between the Propel 750 vs Propel 510 are pretty much identical, with there being a couple notable additions to the preset choices. The Propel 750 offers five automated blending modes in comparison. Then having a larger 64oz container allows you to prepare larger batches, which may be important to you, if you plan on making food for multiple people and wanna make sure there’s enough for everyone. The Vitamix Propel 750 vs Professional 750 specifications are very close to each other, with the overall design being the biggest difference in my opinion. If you found the price of one lower than the other, I’d recommend choosing whatever that model is.
Vitamix Propel 510 vs Propel 750
I’m going to assume you’re already interested in buying some sort of high-end blender, whether that’s Vitamix or not, though you’ve probably heard that the brand is highly recommended. Both models offer outstanding performance and convenient features. Ultimately, you’ll have to decide whether you personally need the extra performance, presets, and blender jar size of the Propel 750. If you don’t, then go for the Propel 510 blender instead.
I should also quickly mention that the Vitamix Propel 750 blender comes with a longer 7-year warranty vs the 5-year found on the 510 model. That would also give you extra coverage if that’s important to your decision.
Both of the Vitamix Propel Series can help you eat a bit healthier, simply by making it easier to prepare dishes using fresh ingredients. Ask yourself which factors are the most important to you and then narrow down your choices. I don’t think you’d go wrong choosing either one of these models. They would both provide a lot more performance than a random lesser blender. And with the long warranties you’ll be reassured to have a product that lasts a lengthy amount of time.
What Are The Alternative Vitamix Blenders For Me?
For alternatives, you could perhaps choose a Vitamix V1200 model. There aren’t any buttons to directly select presets; however, it is compatible with the Vitamix app, for your smartphone or tablet. This would allow you to select up to 17 preset modes and over 600 recipes. So if you don’t mind using your smart device to activate the presets, or you like the idea of having even more automated modes, the V1200 might fit you perfectly and be a great alternative option.
