I’m always on the lookout for the best prices for my visitors, so I thought I’d share some with everyone in a dedicated article. At the moment Amazon has discounted a few models: the popular Vitamix 5200, Vitamix 5300, Vitamix 6300, and the Vitamix TurboBlend. Click their names to read full reviews and details for each model.
The descriptions on the product page may say something like Vitamix 1888, Vitamix 1889, Vitamix 1890, or Vitamix 1891 but I assure you they’re the correct models with the same features listed, it’s just a technical number being used by the Vitamix company. There are a few other colors to choose from at the links as well if you want to buy something unique. Click the buttons and links below to visit the product pages for each model. Refurbished Vitamix Details
The Vitamix refurbished quantities are limited and seem to go in and out of stock at random times. The names are different such as Vitamix 1891 or something, but they are the exact same models stated here with the same features. Vitamix just relabels certain models. There’s even a disclaimer on the product pages that state that the label “may reflect the following C-Series model names: Professional Series 500 or 6300” for example.
These officially reconditioned Vitamix blenders come with a 5-year warranty, a 30-day money back guarantee, and every blender goes through a 17-point quality check before it leaves the refurbished Vitamix warehouse. This ensures you get a used Vitamix blender that works just as well as a brand new machine. You just get the benefit of saving money on them.
I’ve already written in-depth reviews for both of these blenders, but perhaps I should mention a few key differences. The 5200 is really popular among consumers but is pretty basic in terms of features. Even though it’s simple in function, it does still perform extremely well and handles every recipe with ease. The 6300 has the addition of a dedicated pulse button and 3 convenient presets: frozen desserts, hot soups, and smoothies. With these presets you can add your ingredients into the blender and it will automatically handle the entire blending process for those tasks. This gives you consistent results and can make preparing recipes less time-consuming. The TurboBlend lacks a 10-speed dial, so your only choices are limited to either “high” or “low”. This makes delicate recipes a bit more difficult, but overall it offers the same power found in the other two models.
If you want my opinion, I’d definitely recommend spending the extra money and getting the 6300 model over the 5200. It isn’t that much more expensive and comes with helpful presets that can make your blender experience a bit more enjoyable. You don’t really know how helpful those automatic presets are unless you’ve used them. All of the machines are pretty similar in performance so it comes down to whether or not the added features are worth the extra money to you. Having said that, if you’re on a budget and you want the most affordable option, you can’t go wrong with the TurboBlend. You’ll still be able to make smoothies, frozen desserts, and hot soups in it. It just lacks the speed precision you get with a 10-speed dial.
I’ll also point out that if your machine ever breaks under the 5-year warranty, you’ll be able to get a replacement directly from the company. They even pay two-way shipping when handling warranties, which is really nice to see. Overall I think you’d be happy with either model and if you’re in the market for a refurb Vitamix on sale, this is easily the best price you’ll find. I hope this helps some new people get into the blender world and I thank you for taking the time read about this certified refurbished Vitamix sale.
