Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Recipe

Here’s another recipe with holiday flavors as the theme. I should note that this will serve two or three people depending on how big the glasses are. It’s also possible it will only serve one person depending on whether or not you have trouble sharing. I always like to have classic holiday flavors in different forms. Can you imagine drinking this while eating a slice of pumpkin pie?

pumpkin pie smoothieThe recipe itself is pretty straightforward, add the ingredients and blend until thoroughly mixed. I tried to think of everything in pumpkin pie and how you’d convert that into a smoothie. The graham crackers are an essential part to give you the flavor of the pie crust. You may want to crush up or blend the graham crackers first though to make sure you don’t get any big chunks, unless you’re into that sort of thing. Whipped cream can also be mixed in with the other ingredients for a creamier flavor.

The banana may seem out of place but I assure you it’s there for a reason. Not only does it help hold things together, it also provides many vitamins such as potassium. Use that as an excuse to have one more glass. I hope you and your family enjoy this regardless of the month you make it, happy holidays!
