I noticed that I’m very frequently fantasizing about some sort of dessert. This apple pie smoothie in particular is one of my personal favorites. It’s thankfully also pretty easy to prepare if you have the ingredients on hand. You just add all of the things into your blender jar and turn it on. Remember to core and slice the apples up, I’d say into 8 wedges or so. That will make sure to distribute the apples more thoroughly.
This has a lot of tasty additions and tweaks you can make to it. For instance, try adding some crushed up nuts on top once you’re ready to serve it. A nice scoop of vanilla or cinnamon ice cream also goes really well. If you really wanna overdo it though, make some streusel to sprinkle on top. You make that with a combination of butter, brown sugar, and flour. Mix those ingredients in a small bowl until it clumps together and then spread it on a cookie sheet. You’ll bake that at 375 degrees for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown.
It’s easy to make this apple pie smoothie to share with your friends and family. Unless you have trouble sharing, in which case it’s also perfectly fine to horde it all for yourself. I do that from time to time so I completely understand! I usually go for Granny Smith apples in my recipes but make sure to let us know in the comments if you prefer a different kind. - 2 Granny Smith apples cored and sliced
- 1 cup of ice
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of whipped cream
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
- Add all of the ingredients into your blender jar.
- Turn your blender on low and gradually increase the speed to high.
- Blend for about 2 minutes or until smooth.
